I come from a proud family of educators and business owners. I was born in Long Island, NY. At 6 weeks, my mother, Daphne, moved to Atlanta, Ga. where she raised me and my sister, Shanique.

I graduated high school at 16 years old from Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, GA. From there, I attended Valdosta State University on a football scholarship, winning a National Championship in 2007.

After graduating with my Bachelors in Speech Communications, I continued my education at VSU, earning my Masters in Public Administration: Human Resources. Currently, I have nine years of experience in education including working with students with disabilities.

I am proud to be a loving husband and father of three children; Cameron, 8, Teddy Jr., 3, and Garvey, 1.

With my experience as a parent and educator, I offer my knowledge and experiences for parents from diverse backgrounds, support for first-time fathers, and a male perspective. I seek to provide a safe, judgment-free, positive platform for uplifting families that want to engage in enrichment and empowerment within their own family and community.

I'm an Army Brat who was born in Frankfurt, Germany. My family moved all around the country until finally settling in the Metro Atlanta Area in 2000. The youngest of three children, my parents have been married for 35 years and are the proud grandparents of four boys!

After graduating from South Forsyth High School in Cumming, Ga., I continued my education at The University Of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, and subsequently transferred and graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education.

A self-proclaimed “Boy Mom”, I love spending time with my three boys and husband, Teddy! My experiences with both cesarean sections as well as vbacks allows me to be uniquely equipped to support first-time moms. I have had one cesarean and two all-natural, non-medicated water births. A huge advocate for breastfeeding, I breastfed all three of my boys and am passionate about supporting other moms on their breastfeeding journey.
